When most people think of Jumeirah Hotels in Dubai they picture the above, Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Burj Al Arab.
Little do they know is that in the middle of the two, sits Madinat Jumeirah, with Jumeirah Al Naseem, Jumeirah Al Qasr, Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf and Jumeirah Mina A’Salam all based here.
That’s six of the hotels right there, sat on the gorgeous Jumeirah Beach. So now for the other four and their locations:
- Jumeirah Emirates Towers – Sheikh Zayed Road, Za’abeel, just 8 minutes from Downtown Dubai
- Jumeirah Living World Trade Centre – Za’abeel, not far from Jumeirah Emirates Towers
- Jumeirah Creekside Hotel – Dubai Creek, Opposite Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club
- Jumeirah Zabeel Saray – Palm Jumeirah

Which Jumeirah Hotel has the Best Location?
To judge which hotel is in the best location let’s first take a brief look at the 4 areas.
Jumeirah Beach
Probably the easiest location to make a case for. Golden sands and unrivalled views of the Arabian gulf make Jumeirah Beach one of the most sought after holiday hotspots in Dubai.
Other benefits of this area include:
- Souk Madinat
- Wild Wadi Water Park
- Close access to Palm Jumeirah
- Shopping & Eateries Close By are Plentiful
The one downside to Jumeirah Beach would be the lack of access to the Dubai metro. However, taxi’s are cheap and there are a few bus stops dotted close by.
Za’abeel
Za’abeel is located in the middle of Dubai which means access to each and every area is within easy reach. The downside to staying in Za’abeel would be the lack of beach access at your fingertips.

- Generally a Cheaper Area to Eat & Drink Out Compare to Jumeirah Beach

Dubai Creek
Named “River Zara” by the ancient Greeks and a huge part of Dubai’s fishing heritage, Dubai Creek is now one of the best places to live and vacation in the UAE.
Best known for museums, water taxi’s and floating restaurants, Dubai Creek has a lot to offer visiting travellers.
Benefits of the area include:
- Close Proximity to Dubai Airport
- Incredible Views of the Creek from Most Hotels
- Restaurants and Bars at the Plenty
- Close to Deira for a Real Taste of UAE Culture
- More Affordable than Typical Holiday Destinations of JBR, Jumeirah Beach and Palm Jumeriah
Palm Jumeirah
Probably the most famous island in the world, Palm Jumeirah is a manmade archipelago full of hotels, restaurants, malls, beaches and more! The only downside to this island is the distance from mainland Dubai and the many fantastic attractions, however, The Palm has most of it’s own to offer.
Benefits include:
- All hotels have their own private beaches
- The view from The Palm back into Dubai is mind blowing
- The quality of hotels on The Palm are some of the best in the world
- Due to the design, the waters are calm and warm for swimming
- The major attraction of Atlantis Lost World and Aquaventure are close by
- The Palm Metro gives you an incredible overview in a short space of time
Overall, all 4 areas have their own benefits but when it comes to a vacation you can’t look beyond Jumeirah Beach and Palm Jumeirah. However, Jumeirah Beach edges it for the best location due to it’s easier access to the rest of Dubai.

The city hotels such as World Trade Centre, Emirates Towers and Creekside are far more affordable than the beach hotels which is expected. The most expensive of the lot was Burj Al Arab which is not surprising considering its presence in the hotel world.
Of the beach hotels, Jumeirah Beach Hotel was the cheapest but overall, Jumeirah Emirates Towers is the most affordable of the bunch.

One of the most important aspects to consider when choosing your hotel is things to do & facilities. Unless you are an avid sun bather who likes reading books by the pool every day (and in which case we advice choosing a cheap beach hotel).
So let’s start at the top and work our way through all of the main facilities at each Jumeirah hotel.
Burj Al Arab
Despite it’s 7 star rating and playing host to some of the best rooms and restaurants in Dubai, Burj Al Arab doesn’t stop at chilled out luxury. On top of the 9 different restaurants, 5 swimming pools and spa, the hotel offers a variety of water sports including:
- Water Skiing
- Wind Surfing
- Banana Boat Rides
- Kneeboards
- Kayaks
- Deep Sea Fishing
- Yacht Rental
The hotel also offers sight seeing tours to places in Dubai such as; Art Galleries, Bird Watching, Gold Souks, Museums and more.
Jumeirah Beach Hotel
The biggest pull of any Jumeirah Hotel is definitely the free access to Wild Wadi Water Park, and Jumeirah Beach Hotel is the closest to it. For shopaholics, The Mall is just across the street too! On top of the private beach, 6 pools, 7 tennis courts and kids club, there are a variety of other things to do at Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
Jumeirah Al Naseem
Jumeirah Al Naseem is situated at Madinat Jumeirah, offering many bars, restaurants and souks. This hotel also comes with complementary unlimited access to Wild Wadi Water Park too. The hotel also hosts 5 tennis courts, 2 squash courts, rock climbing and a theatre. Like all Jumeirah Hotels, there is also a kids club too.
Jumeirah Al Qasr / Dar Al Masyaf & Mina A’Salam
The facilities available at these hotels mirror that of the Jumeirah Al Naseem.
Jumeirah Emirates Towers
Just minutes away from Downtown Dubai, J.E.T is the perfect budget city hotel whilst still providing 5 star accommodation. The facilities here are limited in comparison to the Madinat Jumeirah hotels. However, there is still a pool, fitness centre, garden and 11 dining and nightlife venues with incredible views of Dubai city.
Jumeirah Living World Trade Centre
Jumeirah Living offers the perfect blend of hotel service whilst offering furnished apartments. Great for families who want some space to relax and cater for themselves. The hotel also allows pets! On top of this make sure you take advantage of the rooftop pool and gymnasium.
Jumeirah Creekside Hotel
Local attractions to the Creekside hotel include Gold Souk (15 mins) and Dubai Creek Golf Course (10 mins). Other than this, the hotel has 2 outdoor pools, 5 restaurants, a gym and spa. The property also has 4 tennis courts and 2 squash courts and is puppy friendly!
Jumeirah Zabeel Saray
One downside to staying on The Palm is the seclusion from the main city. However, the benefits outweigh the cons with fantastic hotels like Jumeirah Zabeel Saray and incredible facilities.

Which Jumeirah Hotel Has the Best Rooms?
Hands down, the rooms available at the Burj Al Arab are by far the best. The rooms are huge and luxurious with incredible views of the city and Arabian gulf. However, most of you reading this may be put off by the price of staying at this 7 star hotel, so which Jumeirah Hotel has the 2nd best rooms?
Many of the other Jumeirah Hotels have similar styled rooms. The most basic of the bunch is the Ocean Deluxe which varies between 50m2 and 60m2 depending on the hotel. However, the Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf offers visitors something different with their summerhouse styled accommodation. The Ocean Deluxe Summerhouse is the best of the bunch in our opinion!

Which Jumeirah Hotel is Better for Families?
All of the Jumeirah Hotels have great facilities and keeping the kids entertained should never be an issue.
The Jumeirah Beach Hotel seems to do families better than most other hotels in Dubai though. This hotel appears to be designed specifically for families with the large open spaces in the gardens and beach, multiple swimming pools, enthralling kids club and Ocean Family Deluxe rooms.

Which Jumeirah Hotel is Better for Couples?
This one can be a difficult choice. It would depend on what you are searching for in a couples hotel in Dubai. For those wanting to taste the city, Downtown Dubai is the place to be and therefore Jumeirah Emirates Towers would be the best choice.
On the other-hand, if you’re looking for beach romance in a luxury chilled out setting, then Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf would be the best choice. The Madinat Jumeirah Hotels have the feel of 1,001 Arabian Nights and the rooms here are luxurious and romantic too. The Malikaya Villas are perfect for couples.
