Lets start with the most popular hotel on The Palm (by booking numbers). Sofitel The Palm is a 5 star beach resort with unrivalled facilities for all of the family. This is a family favourite for many and has 4.5 out of 5 on Trip Advisor and 9.2 out of 10 on Hotels.com.
The hotel is built with a Polynesian style to it, has incredible Arabian service and a pristine man made beach looking back over the City of Dubai.
The average nightly rate for a standard room here is around £100. Main amenities include a marina, 7 restaurants, 6 bars, 6 pools and a full service spa. The Aquaventure Waterpark next door at The Atlantis is only a 20 minute walk away.
2. Atlantis The Palm
Next up, probably the most famous hotel on the planet, Atlantis The Palm. This hotel has huge grounds and contains a weeks worth of entertainment for all without leaving the premises.
Atlantis The Palm takes the centre stage of the Palm Jumeirah and sits dead centre at the top of the tree looking back into Dubai. For unrivalled views of Dubai make sure to grab a south facing room on one of the top floors.

Over to the west crescent of The Palm Jumierah and holding the best rating of all the hotels in this area, Jumierah Zabeel Saray. This hotel prides itself on its 9.4 out of 10 rating on Hotels.com and 4.5 out of 5 on Trip Advisor. The hotel architecture and décor is inspired by the traditional Turkish culture and suits its placement here in Dubai.
The unique selling point of Zabeel Saray would be the 8,000 square meter state of the art spar and 8 infinity pools. The hotel also contains 9 different restaurants and nightlife venues.
For families, there is a children’s pool and play club. Average prices per night for a standard room at the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is £134 including breakfast.
4. Fairmont The Palm
Fairmont The Palm is another hotel on The Palm Jumeirah which is great for families. On site facilities for children are fantastic as is the kids club. 5. Anantara The Palm
Rated 9 out of 10 on Hotels.com and 4.5 out of 5 on Trip advisor, this cosmopolitan beach resort boasts swim up rooms galore and the only over water bungalows in the UAE.
Brunch here is one of the best in Dubai and the hotel has 4 different restaurants to choose from. This hotel is fantastic for couples although family travel isn’t impossible. Just make sure any little ones can swim as there is plenty of pool space!
For families, there’s a kids and teens club as well as a playground. The hotel has a wide variety of water sports and fishing activities, plus you can go quad biking on the beach! Boat hire is also available giving you the chance to see The Palm island from the water. Like most hotels on The Palm, there is a full service Hammam Spa for those wanting to relax.
