Many people aren’t lucky enough to visit Dubai very often and so ponder the choice of their hotel a little too much.
Truth be told, all hotels in Dubai offer a fantastic service. Two of the best and most popular hotels, Atlantis The Palm and Jumeirah Beach hotel second that. But you’re here because you’re wondering which is better, right? So here’s our full face-off, Atlantis vs Jumeirah Beach Hotel, to find out which is the best choice.
We faced Atlantis and Jumeirah Beach Hotel against each other in rounds based on Location, Cost, Rooms and Facilities. Overall, we found Jumeirah Beach Hotel to be the better of the two, but there wasn’t much in it!
Is it Better to Stay on The Palm or Jumeirah Beach?
If you’re looking for fantastic views from your hotel balcony then there is no rival to Palm Jumeirah. The Atlantis Hotel is set at the top of the palm, in the centre and looking back towards Dubai.
From your rooms at Atlantis you can see the whole of Dubai, including Jumeirah Beach! Evening views from the Atlantis Hotel when Dubai lights up the night sky are unrivalled.
Atlantis The Palm has some fantastic on site facilities but if you want to venture out anywhere else to restaurants or to find alternative things to do, then you would need to grab a taxi. The top of the Palm Jumeirah is dominated by hotels so outside of your hotel door, there isn’t much else to explore.
On the other hand, Jumeirah Beach Hotel is surrounded by fantastic off-site attractions. Wild Wadi Water Park is just a few minutes walk. Then there is Souk Madinat as well as a range of cafes and bars on Jumeirah Beach. There is also Umm Suqeim Park and an open air cinema within walking distance.
For this round, based on location, Jumeirah Beach Hotel is the winner. The Atlantis has amazing views of the city and the private beach on the Palm is gorgeous. However, Jumeirah Beach has a lot more to offer in the sense of location.
