First of all, let’s look at the locations. Atlantis is located on Palm Jumeirah and Jumeirah Beach Hotel is located, well you guessed it already, on Jumeirah Beach. But where is the best location?
If you’re looking for fantastic views from your hotel balcony then there is no rival to Palm Jumeirah. The Atlantis The Palm is set at the top of the palm, in the centre and looking back towards Dubai.
From your room at Atlantis, you can see the whole of Dubai, including Jumeirah Beach! Evening views from the Atlantis Hotel when Dubai lights up the night sky are unrivalled.
Atlantis The Palm has some fantastic on-site facilities but if you want to venture out anywhere else like to the restaurants or to find some alternative things to do, then you would need to grab a taxi. The top of the Palm Jumeirah is dominated by hotels so outside of your hotel door, there isn’t much else to explore.
On the other hand, Jumeirah Beach Hotel is surrounded by fantastic off-site attractions. Wild Wadi Water Park is just a few minutes walk. Then there is Souk Madinat as well as a range of cafes and bars on Jumeirah Beach. There is also Umm Suqeim Park and an open-air cinema within walking distance.

For this round, based on location, Jumeirah Beach Hotel is the winner. The Atlantis has amazing views of the city and the private beach on the Palm is gorgeous. However, Jumeirah Beach has a lot more to offer in the sense of location.

For which hotel has better rooms, it depends much on your personal preference but nevertheless let us have a look at the standard rooms of both hotels.
A standard room at the Atlantis Hotel comes with a 45sq m floor space, a king-sized bed plus other usually found facilities such as wifi and a flat-screen TV. Rooms at Atlantis have either partial or full ocean views. Many of the rooms here are decorated in the traditional Arabian style.
Standard rooms at Jumeirah Beach Hotel come with a large double bed and a spacious 538sq ft area. All rooms at Jumeirah Beach Hotel have ocean views. The rooms here are decorated in a very modern way and do feel more relaxing than those at Atlantis The Palm.
