Dubai is famous for the sheer amount of supercars and luxury rides. What’s more, Dubai’s police force owns some of the fastest and most expensive supercars in the region. Here we take a look at each of the Police Cars in Dubai, exploring their price and their speed!
Aston Martin One-77
The Aston Martin One-77 joined the fleet back in 2013. The slick supercar has varying reports for how much the Dubai Police department paid for it, but it’s expected to have cost them at least 6.57 million AED! The Aston Martin One-77 has a top speed of 354 kmph (approx. 220 mph) and can travel from 0 to 100 kmph (approx. 62 mph) in 3.7 seconds, so hold onto your hats!
Bentley Continental GT
The Bentley Continental GT also joined the collection in 2013. We can’t be sure of the price for the car, but what we do know is it sports a grand classic look backed with tremendous power. The Bentley Continental GT has an impressive top speed of 319 kmph (almost 200 mph) and can roar to 100 kmph in a swift 4.3 seconds!
Bugatti Veyron
There are varying reports for when the Bugatti Veyron joined the collection, but we can probably expect it to have been 2014. The car was added to the fleet in is one of the fastest cars in the fleet and it certainly looks the part with its streamlined appearance! The Bugatti Veyron may have cost the Dubai Police department up to a whopping 10 million AED. This supercar can reach an impressive top speed of 407 kmph ( approx. 253 mph), although some reports claim it can go even higher. It can also soar from 0 to 97 kmph in an astonishing two and a half seconds, that’s mind boggling!
Chevrolet Camaro SS
The Chevrolet Camaro SS made its arrival to the force in 2013. It is another one where we can’t be quite sure of how much it cost, but we know that this brisk ride can reach a top speed of 250 kmph (155 mph). The Chevrolet Camaro SS can also accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in a sharp 4.7 seconds, making for a sophisticated addition to the Dubai Police department!
Ferrari FF
The Ferrari FF was introduced to the fleet in 2013. This car was a very impressive addition at the time and it is easy to see why! The Ferarri FF cost approximately 920,000 AED and can reach a smooth top speed of 335 kmph (approx. 208 mph). In terms of acceleration, you’re looking at a sharp 0 to 100 kmph in 3.7 seconds!
Lamborghini Aventador
The Dubai Police took the plunge and bought a specially modified Lamborghini Aventador back in 2013 for approximately 2 million AED! This popular supercar is still able to hold its ground by reaching a top speed of 354 kmph and racing from 0 to 100 kmph in an impressive 2.9 seconds.
Audi R8
The popular Audi R8 joined the Dubai Police department’s fleet back in 2016. We can’t be sure of the exact price for the car, but we can probably expect it to be around 600,000 AED. The sports car can reach a swift top speed of 319 kmph, but this is debated. It can also zoom from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.5 seconds!
Porsche 918 Spyder
Dubai Police added the ferocious Porsche 918 Spyder to their fleet back in 2015. It cost the force over 5 million AED and can soar to a whopping top speed of 340 kmph (approx. 210 mph). The Porsche 918 Spyder can race from a startling 0 to 100 kmph in 2.8 seconds!
Mercedes AMG GT 63 S
This one is a fairly recent addition to Dubai Police’s impressive collection. The Mercedes AMG GT 63 S joined the squad at the end of 2019. It cost the Dubai Police department just under 600,000 AED and has a top speed of 315 kmph (approx. 195 mph). It can reach a smooth 100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds!
McLaren MP4 12C
The McLaren MP4 12C joined the fleet back at the end of 2013. It is certainly a luxury sports car to behold! It cost Dubai Police up to 1.1 million AED and is capable of reaching speeds of up to 333 kmph (approx. 207 mph). In terms of acceleration, the McLaren MP4 12C can climb from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.1 seconds!
