3 Routes Worth Exploring Between Dubai and Fujairah

Route I

The first route begins with E611, followed by exiting 24 to take the E102.  Next you need to turn off at Exit 47 and then simply take the E84, which will take you to the Fujairah city. From Downtown Dubai the drive is about 1 hour 20 minutes.

Route II

You can add a little adventure to your drive by taking the mountain-clad route through Masafi. Here, you will have to begin your journey at E611 and take a left at E99 and keep moving north to Al Aqah. The total drive time from Downtown Dubai will come to about 1 hour 50 minutes.

Route III

In the third route, you need to start with E611 again and continue driving up to the Al Shohadaa Road E87 roundabout. You need to continue on this route until the E89 roundabout to reach Dibba. This route will also take you around 1 hour 50 minutes from Downtown Dubai.

The route you choose will depend largely upon which part of Fujairah you are interested to head to. For instance, Route I is appropriate for people heading to the Fujairah city center. Route II is appropriate if you plan to reside at one of the beach resorts located in Al Aqah. Likewise, Route III shall be useful for those of you heading to the northern township of Dibba.

Taxi from Dubai to Fujairah

You can pay your bus fare by using the Nol Card. The only thing you need to do is to make sure that your card has enough balance before boarding the bus.

You are sure to have a relaxing journey if you decide to travel to Fujairah from Dubai by E700. This is because the bus is air-conditioned and has comfortable seats. Likewise, there are seats reserved for passengers with special needs.

Dubai to Fujairah by Train

At present, no trains run between Dubai and Fujairah. Hence, it is not possible for you to plan a train journey to Fujairah. Instead, you will have to rely on your private car, taxi or public bus facility.

However, in the years to come you may get an opportunity of reaching Fujairah from Dubai using the train route. The Etihad railway track, which is being developed at present, is likely to connect Dubai, Sharjah and Fujairah.
